Healthcare supply chain is a world of many hurdles. Many different parties of a healthcare system are often involved in supply chain decision making in one way or another. Surgeons ultimately control what is used, materials managers are responsible for tracking usage and compliance, sourcing managers control contractual prices while owners/executives are responsible for profitability. Each party holds a piece of the cost control puzzle. However, each party has either a different or no view of the data from an end to end process perspective. The goal of this group is to help close the gaps between parties and foster a healthcare environment that is transparent and maximizes profitability without sacrificing patient outcomes.
