Rotator Cuff Repair with Biobrace augmentation and Bone marrow concentrate

Many rotator cuff tears are at risk of non-healing despite our current best repair techniques. Augmenting the rotator cuff repair with a graft/implant can improve the success rate. Recently a new graft, Biobrace, has become increasingly popular because of its combination of collagen to stimulate biology and PLLA fibers to provide initial strength. The Biobrace graft is strong and suturable during surgery and yet reabsorbs over several years so the native soft tissues heal without being stress shielded!
