3. Why your hospital should be on TikTok

Over 200 million people are on social media at least 3 hours every day. So, if you are not taking full advantage you are missing out on a lot of community engagement and business opportunity. Not only that, but as a healthcare provider, you are missing opportunities to help your communities with information and education.
At the time of this recording, we are in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. While the principles and tactics we discuss will be evergreen, it is important context. Especially as communities look for answers, comfort, and leadership. Social media can be a powerful communication channel.
Our guest for this episode is Rebecca Batterman.
Rebecca is a consumer marketing, brand innovation, strategy, and intellectual property law expert. Her career has been rooted in exploring and challenging the traditional formats of the consumer and brand relationships.
Rebecca spends her days launching brands and creating fully immersive brand communities through digital and live experiences, strategic partnerships and influencer marketing. She has led programs for well-known global brands such as L’Oréal, Sony, Target, P&G, and LEGO for product launches, experiential marketing, and corporate innovation. Rebecca challenges brands to explore innovation not just for their products but in the way they connect with consumers.
Her work has won numerous innovation and experiential marketing awards. She has launched over 30 consumer brands to market for startups and Fortune 500 companies alike.
Rebecca has raised and managed over $100m of client business with brands, startups, institutions, and non-profits. And if all of this wasn’t enough, she also has a background in media production, including original content creation and is a Masters of Intellectual Property Law candidate at Cardozo School of Law.
