One of the many daunting tasks of endoscopic spine surgery is OR setup and positioning. For lumbar cases I like to use a Wilson frame on a flat top Jackson table. I also use this same setup for posterior cervical surgery. With posterior cervical cases I typically place a few towels underneath the foam head rest to flex the neck.

I do them all on a Jackson table. Flat top for awake cases and open top for general anesthesia cases.

All my cervical cases are done prone under general with an open top Jackson and foam face pillow.
