BMC Injections for Partial Thickness Rotator Cuff Tears

We prospectively treated 25 patients with symptomatic partial thickness rotator cuff tears with an in office bone marrow concentrate injection placed under ultrasound guidance. 2 year follow up results showed durable improvements in pain scores, functional measures, and patient satisfaction. BMC injections are a reasonable treatment alternative for patients with symptomatic partial thickness rotator cuffs tears.
