Episode 7 – Video “Imbedded” Emails for Sales and Marketing in a Covid-19 World

One survey showed respondents had 81% more replies to emails using this technique.  Imbedded videos may be the answer.  I don’t mean attached videos.  I mean video clips linked to a GIF that is imbedded.  In this Covid-19 and virtual world this could make the difference between sales success and failure in the early stages of the sales process.

This is a continuation of Season One – Covid-19 – How Medtech companies can respond in marketing, sales and operations.

Episode 6 – Selling in a Covid-19 World – New Sales Practices

The Medical Device Success podcast series has been downloaded in 65 countries!  This was an eye-opening discovery when I was poking around my download statistics.  Not long ago, a French listener asked if I offered transcripts.  I haven’t…..yet.  With this new discovery, I will.  This week I will start making transcripts of past podcasts starting with the one she asked about.

This week we talk about Selling Medical Devices in a Covid-19 world.  The selling landscape for medical devices has changed significantly and continues to change. Some of these changes may be long term.  By that I mean 18 months or more. Becca Kiel of the Bichsel Medical Marketing Group joins me to share some insights she gathered while researching the subject for a blog post.  We discuss what may change in the sales process.

Episode 5 – Make Your Virtual PowerPoint Presentation Powerful in this Covid-19 World

The response to the last podcast about the future of the medical device industry in the Covid era was immense! Thank you!  Is a Virtual PowerPoint presentation the same as a face to face PowerPoint?  No way.  In this podcast we start with a quick lookback on the future of the medical device business.  Then, with the help of Dave Paradi of ThinkOutsideTheSlide.com, we discuss important PowerPoint considerations when making virtual presentations and we learn about several PowerPoint features that will make you and your company look very professional and help communicate to the customer that you can fulfill their needs.  I didn’t know about these features.  Maybe I am an idiot.  But I bet the majority of you don’t either.  Enjoy.

Important Note – the PowerPoint features that we discuss may only be available in the 2019 version or the Office 365 version. If you don’t have these versions of PowerPoint, Dave does explain another feature that is helpful. Personally, I recommend upgrading. It makes you look so professional that it is worth the investment.
